Rose felt she still had time to have yet another role in the arts.

And more importantly, she WAS in her prime years, (though these would continue on indefinitely).

Throughout her life, she’d been the subject of many portrait shots in fashionable attire and as a hat model, but that’s another story to be published.

Now was the chance to make her classical mark as ‘Pug Odalisque.’

THE artist was her master Paula.

The medium, digital.

The tool her iPad.

The software, Procreate.

The inspiration, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres reclining nude, Grande Odalisque.

She felt she was perfect for the role.

Pugs can be very still for long periods of time, and while some might say sedentary, she preferred patient.

She preferred nudity.

And her black coat gave the perfect contrast to the bisque white model in the original.

So here is Paula’s version of Rose as Muse.
